Our Photography Style
I like to think of myself as a 'wedding photojournalist'. This means that my primary
focus at your wedding is to tell the story of your wedding day with honest and artistic candids.
If your plan for your wedding day is to get stunning photos by having your photographer tell you where to stand, how to smile, and where to look, then my wife and I are NOT the right photographers for your wedding.
I love photographing weddings that have a unique story. A couple toasting with milk at the reception, a visit to a grandma at a nursing home, or a kindergarten class dancing at the reception; these stories have made for some memorable weddings with charming photos.
While my primary focus is photojournalism, I do also recognize the need for portraits at weddings. To fulfill this obligation, I spend approximately 1 hour per wedding photographing your family's list of desired portraits.
